Why Pevra Exists

Phone number history in Nigeria isn't tracked anywhere public. We built Pevra to close that gap.

We separated two things telecom systems have always bundled together.

Who you are, and what number you're using. Your identity, tied to your NIN, follows you for life. A number's history, every owner, every event, stays visible on-chain, permanently and transparently, so nobody inherits a number's past without knowing about it.

Pevra team and mission

To give every Nigerian a phone identity that can't be lost, stolen, or wrongly blamed for someone else's actions, and to build the transparency layer telecom in Nigeria has never had.

Pevra started with a simple question: why should someone's freedom depend on which phone number they happened to be assigned. The more we looked into it, the more it became clear this wasn't a rare glitch in the system. It's a structural gap, and it was solvable. That's what we set out to build.

— Saviour Joseph Henshaw, Founder & CEO

Nigeria first, then the Nigerian diaspora in the UK, USA, and Canada. Over time, we want a Pevra identity to mean something wherever it's checked, in banking, in commerce, in government services, not just on a phone call.

Built by people who care deeply.

Pevra is built by a lean, focused team of blockchain engineers, backend developers, and telecom specialists united by one mission.
